Developing the Whole Student
In a time when many schools are eliminating extras like art, music, foreign language and physical education, St. Joseph continues to provide these to our students.
Our families believe it is important to educate the "Whole Child" and understand that a full, enriching educational experience requires commitment to more than just academics. Life skills have often been identified by parents as being as important (if not more important) than academic achievement alone. Through our programs and classroom design, students will obtain the life skills they need to be successful. Leadership, creativity, problem solving, respect and personal responsibility, adaptability/flexibility, initiative, time management, communication, collaboration/teamwork and comfort with technology are essential skills. Development of these skills will be integrated into all aspects of learning.
Students at St. Joseph are taught in an atmosphere of respect, kindness and discipline. They are supported and encouraged to grow in many ways, and are held to high standards of behavior. Well rounded learners and good citizens are the result!
